Whale art
In the past few weeks we have been doing whale watercolour art.
We read a book about the legend of the seven whales and we based the art on the story.
The first part of the story was about a maori god who the other animals were afraid to even say his name. The God knew the past and the future.
For the art we had to sketch a whale. We had to pratice on a scrap piece of paper. then we had to sketch the whale we chose on paper card. Next we had to use water colour and paint the background. After that we painted the whale and used white and painted the whales chin.
This is my piece of art work. Enjoy!
